Samuel is 25 years young, loves Portland as well as eggplants. He knows Geneva from his studies in International Relations. After having served the members of the Swiss Parliament for five years, he joined the university of his hometown Lucerne to dig into the effects of New Modes of Governance in European Research Policy. Throughout his student and early working life, he gathered experiences as activist and board member of national and European youth NGOs. He joined the IdeaFactory as IdeaDirector in summer 2007 – seven years after his first freelancer job at BrainStore. Diagnosis: hopelessly infected with the idea virus and eager to recklessly spread it around.
