Alessandro Valli is an interactive systems engineer and experience designer. He received his MS and PhD degrees in Computer Engineering from the University of Florence, in 2000 and in 2004. In 2001 he started focusing on the topic of natural interaction between humans and machines. After doing academic research and professional consulting for six years, in 2005 Alessandro quit his position at the University to join the iO company, and founded Natural Interaction, a research initiative that investigates intuitive forms of relationship between communicative artifacts and common people in public spaces. Alessandro lives and works in Chianti, Tuscany, Italy, with his cats Jobs and Clementina.
