Digital lifestyle is good, real lifestyle even better

People go to LIFT to get inspired, to free their minds and to challenge their convictions to get new creative perspectives on today's technology-driven challenges and opportunities. During the breaks, which usually are the main socialization moments in many conferences, LIFT offers an experience: social activities in a atypicial, artistic and relaxing context. These acitivities ignite discussions in a playful way and foster interactions between participants. LIFT experience includes cult events such as the LIFT fondue or the closing party, interactive art installations in the conference center, visual interpretation of conference themes as well as talks, workshops and discussions.

An installation that shows how computers may depreciate the uniqueness of human communication.

4 - SEEING IS BELIEVING
illustrators will share their visual points of view during the conference, using their unique language.
They draw live at different time and places during the conference and the result can be seen on the interactive wall.

*5 - LIFT SONG Experience
Interactive “on the spot” song creation based on the LIFT 08 soundtrack. Participants will imagine brief lyrics then record his voice over the track (with or without additional instruments). He will end up with a 20 seconds mp3 track for him to use and show his mama.

Installation that captures your image and "re-builds" it live with participants portraits.

7-CADAVRE EXQUIS - Foresight Experience

8 - NOT SO EMPTY BOOK Experience
LIFT is not only about digital bits, we will print a magazine during the conference! Because digital content is very fragile and can easily be corrupted, copied or altered, and because we believe in the value of printed materials as a good way to keep track of an experience like LIFT, we decided to publish,print,edit and distribute during the conference relevant participants content.

9- L.I.F.T. dance Experience
Constantly evolving in space, the gesture will change with the contact of people.The movement will reproduce LIFT in a physical appearance, using each letter of the word, drawing and moving them one by one in space, for everlasting existnce.
