‘Wind-Tree 2007’ presents swinging virtual trees by real-time winds from Haeundae. Installed mikes at Haeundae Chosun Hotel rooftop gather sounds from sea and broadcast it by the Internet. The movements of trees are responsive to the volume of this transmitted sound. This work connects Haeundae and exhibition space by the Internet, combines reality and virtuality, creates a new space and image.

Artist Jihoon Byun has been showing works connecting spaces through network such as ‘Wind (2006)’, ‘Wind-Tree (2007)’, ‘White Shadow (2007)’. ‘Wind-Tree 2007’ is also on this continuity.
